Thompson grape flruishing in the Arizona summer sun

Take a look at this great looking grape vine growing on the West facing side of the yard. This is a thompson variety grape vine and is flurishing in this weather and location.

I have not had as good of luck with the flame variety grape vine on the West side of the yard though.

On a side note, a few days after this photo was taken about 5 vines had the leaves eaten off by a HUGE and very hungry GREEN caterpillar. Later in the night I checked with a flashlight and found a total of 4 more...some were green and others were a tan/brown color. I will post photos of them shortly.
