Wake up with the wind!

So today we wake up with the wind blowing like mad outside! I have left the two raised gardens uncovered, no frost cloth, for the last week and fear that this wind may destroy all our hard work. The wind is one thing to deal with but, the cold weather in the mornings make it twice as hard to want to go outside, lol.

It was a real cool sight to see the thick fog as it rolled over the top of the fence into the garden.

Th fog was so heavy that I could not see the mountains or even the home across the greenbelt.

Rain in Arizona!

The rain is here!

It started to pour about 20 minutes ago and looks like it might stay for a while. It's a cold rain too. It's a nice welcomed drop in temp that we've all been waiting for :) I'll try and post some pics in a while.

Strong winds

The wind is pickingup speed by the second over here. I guess there is a large storm south of us and this is just the start of it for our area. I love the rain, but the winds are  another issue all together.

I hope we get some good lightning!
