Noticed a few leaves were chewed on the other day. By the time I was able to get out and really inspect the vines, I found the damage and a huge green grasshopper. I didn't think the grasshopper would cause that much damage, but I removed it anyway. The next day after looking over the grape vines again, I found the main problem...a HUGE hungry green caterpillar. I belive these green caterpillars turn into what is known as the Azalea Sphinx Moth. I have a photo in a previous post which shows what is most likely this exact moth.
