Blue Lake bean seeds sprout in 2 days!

Something told me today to check the seeds in the zip lock baggies for roots...I am happy to report that the Blue Lake bean seeds have germinated very well in ONLY TWO DAYS!

I have added these to the mini garden and moved it to an East/ South East facing window. I hope to have more great news soon on the rest of the seeds.

Our first seed towel germination test has worked!

I started some seeds about a week ago via the "wet towel seed germination" technique. I opened the baggies to great looking roots on a few seeds. Enough to start our mini indoor garden I hope...

Take a look at the results:

Pumpkin seeds. Only got one to grow this time around, but look at that root development!

Water melon seeds. A lot more success compared to the pumpkin seeds.

Cantaloupe seeds. Almost all of them have germinated!
